Welcome to Learning in the Dark.

Founded in 2021 and sponsored by the Canadian Association of Radiologists Resident & Fellow Section, this educational radiology podcast is designed to orient you to high yield on call pathologies that will prepare you for call, taking cases in rounds, and the board exams. Each episode will provide you with an approach, imaging findings and case discussions while formatting through the classic 4 D’s of radiology: Detect, describe, differential and decision.

REBECCA SPOUGE

Rebecca is a Founder and Co-Host of Learning in the Dark. She is currently a Radiology resident at the University of British Columbia with a passion for teaching, singing and outdoor adventures. Combined with her infectious curiosity to learn she hopes to bring some energy and fun to call preparation.

JAMES ROBERTS

James is a PGY-5 radiology resident at the University of British Columbia. During his free time, he enjoys skiing, running, and crossword puzzles. James is in constant pursuit of baking the perfect loaf of bread and winning the New Yorker cartoon caption contest. After residency, He’ll be starting a fellowship in chest imaging.
